One clever pussy

Never really seen the need for pets, but if the cat can keep catching these pests we’ll keep her on

Luckily the girls are not home as the ‘screaming’ by the rabbit as the cat ‘choked him out’ on the kitchen floor may have disturbed them 🙂

Just as an update. This morning PIppa 2 – Rabbits 0. Oh and it was the girls that found the rabbit in the kitchen and didn’t seem worried at all about it…I guess we read that wrong ah 🙂

Had a cat (Kit) that caught rabbits but would not eat them. That was until the day after my partner and I talked about it one day… I said that I reckon the rabbits were road kill and she just bought them back to the house to make us think she caught them – I concluded this because she didn’t eat them… HA ha ha ha – the next morning there was another rabbit dead in the courtyard but this time she stayed with it and kept eating till it was all gone… only bit left was the nose and a piece of hind-paw… Fur; bones; tail; ears – everything… ate the whole thing… I guess she heard us talking and thought to herself… ‘haha, we’ll see about that!’ I developed quite a good relationship with my cat after this… She caught rats for me and I caught fish for her, she loved fish but didn’t know where to catch them so to her I was the fish god… She was awesome… When I would come home from fishing trips she would just patiently wait for me to clean the fish, she understood that special preparation was required to get her portion of the catch… Once I asked her to catch me a weasel and sure enough, the next morning on the platform at the back door to my bedroom was a weasel…. 🙂 I could go on…
